1. The test samples cannot be recovered; both powder (which may have a relatively large error) and bulk samples can be analyzed. Mercury intrusion porosimetry is suitable for testing rigid materials, as non-rigid materials may have their pore structure altered by mercury intrusion, resulting in pore sizes smaller than their actual values. Samples that react with mercury, such as those containing heavy metals, cannot be tested.
2. The analyzable pore size range is from 5nm (at 30000psi) to 800μm. If analysis down to 3nm (at 60000psi) is required, please contact the local project manager.
3. Sample requirements: (1) Powder sample quantity: ideally 2-3 grams; (2) Bulk sample size should not exceed 1cm*1cm*1cm, with a mass of 2-3 grams; film samples need to be tested in stacks, and a size of 5cm×5cm for a single piece or multiple pieces of 1cm×1cm can be provided.
