Solid-stateNMR
HK$600.00 - HK$1,200.00
Sample quantity requirements: Generally, no less than 0.3g of the sample is required, but this also depends on the density and state of the sample. In terms of volume, the required amount of sample (after compaction) should be more than 0.5 cm³, which is approximately the volume of a cylinder the size of a 2 cm long matchstick, about 300mg. If the sample quantity is very small, please be sure to communicate with the corresponding teacher before sending the sample.
Sample state requirements: Dry solid powders are optimal. Flaky, granular, or materials that can be ground or shredded into fine particles can also be tested. The smaller the sample particles, the better the test results. Gels and other viscous samples cannot be tested with solid-state NMR.
For proton (H) spectra, ensure the sample is well dried and sealed for shipping, preferably preserved under vacuum; for silicon (Si) spectra, a silicon content greater than 20% is required to potentially achieve a good signal-to-noise ratio within the test time. If the content is too low, the signal-to-noise ratio will be poor, and it is advisable to clarify this in advance.
Magnetic and conductivity requirements: Samples that are magnetic, conductive, or corrosive cannot be tested with solid-state NMR. Please make sure to note whether the sample has the above characteristics.
For proton (H) spectra, the number of scans is generally less than 16 times. For other spectra, the default test time is within 1 hour, and additional costs will be adjusted according to the actual time required.
We provide reasonable data processing results, ensuring the rationality and authenticity of data processing, but the results may not necessarily completely match your expectations. Please treat this with understanding.
